Dartmouth Premier Gold Cruise from Torquay & Brixham just £10
If you want something special and exclusive, if you want to see the coastline from Torquay and Brixham all the way to Dartmouth, (landing for sometime) then all the way to Slapton Sands near Start Point on a War Ship then this is the cruise for you! This amazing extreme value for money action packed Day Cruise was officially launched by HRH The Princess Royal – and previously known as the Grand Heritage Voyage aboard Nationally Historic WWII Heritage Ship ‘Fairmile’.
You will find this trip passes some of South Devon’s most beautiful coastline covering a full 24 nautical miles. Step aboard the ‘Fairmile’ for an exclusive trip on a WW II Heritage Ship. Relax and submerse yourself in a day of visually beautiful scenery coupled with a full commentary on our history and heritage learning about the local area. Cruise across the Bay to Brixham (if joining us at Torquay), then onto Berry Head and along the coast to Dartmouth, a fascinating picturesque port on the beautiful River Dart.
Disembark and spend an hour in Dartmouth then return and set sail for a cruise out the River towards Slapton Sands, passing Black Pool Sands and Torcross. Learn of Exercise Tiger – a pre D-Day training operation in Lyme Bay which was to culminate in landings on Slapton Sands. After this extra two hour cruise you return to Dartmouth and set sail home to your original departure point.
If you don’t return home raving about what a fantastic day you’ve had, please tell us why. This trip is not to be missed!
