Visit Dittisham from Greenway or Greenway from Dittisham

The quaint village of Dittisham has some of the river’s most wonderful views and is only a 5 minute trip away! Enjoy a delicious pub lunch at the Ferry Boat Inn or visit the Anchorstone Café for some local fresh sea food. Why not hire a boat to explore the river. From Dittisham you can link with many walks including the Dart Valley Trail, Greenway Walk and others. On the opposite side of the river at Greenway majestically stands Greenway House owned by the National Trust but previously owned by the Queen of Crime herself the late Dame Agatha Christie – a visit is a must to explore the Christie family collection or the interesting 2700 species of trees and wooded plants.

Simply ring the Bell outside the ‘Ferry Boat Inn’ or on ‘Greenway Quay’ to summon the ferry and cross the River!
