Our fully licensed passenger boats, attention to detail and staff make every occasion special. We offer value for money, reliability and a commitment to excellence on all our services on the beautiful River Dart from 5 passengers to 100 and more. Boats are available to charter or hire too.

How to find us

GREENWAY QUAY – We sail from Greenway Quay on the beautiful River Dart in the South Hams. Our Post Code is TQ5 0ES – turn off on the Brixham Road for Galmpton following Signs to Greenway House – keep going straight on and you will arrive at Greenway Quay – You can call the Quay directly on 01803844010 – limited parking is available. Vessels sail from here to Dartmouth and Dittisham.

 

DITTISHAM – Vessels sail from the Village Pontoon – just ring the Bell outside the Ferry Boat Inn to summon the ferry. The Postcode is TQ6 0EX. Vessels sail from here to Greenway and Dartmouth.

 

DARTMOUTH – Vessels sail from the Town Pontoon – our ticket booth is situated next to Lloyds Bank in the centre of Dartmouth. The Postcode is TQ6 9PS – Our boats sail from the Dartmouth Town Pontoon to Greenway House and to Dittisham Village.

Making the most of your day

Greenway House hold regular events which include gallery exhibitions, guided tours, children’s trails, quizzes and family tracker packs. Dogs are welcome on leads on main drive. Watering and tethering in courtyard. Great estate walks.

Access Policy

We welcome disabled people and their carers (carers receive discount travel). Unfortunately a degree of mobility is needed by everyone to board vessels where crew will offer their full assistance. We are happy to take wheelchairs on all larger vessels.

Prices do not include entrance to Greenway. NT members receive free entrance. Due to the popularity of this fantastic day trip, there may be a slight delay viewing the house, however we pre book your timed tickets for collection at Greenway ready for when you arrive. You will be given set return times during busy periods.
